How would you like use to size your system? Size by heating demand load and design temperature
Estimated Heating Demand 22.85 kW ( 78000 BTU/hr )
Output of selected heat pump at design temperature (-30C/-22F maximum) 16kW
Percentage of demand load requirement produced by heat pump at design temperature (-30C/-22F maximum) 78%
External backup boiler required 24kW
Internal backup boiler required if using Alt Source tank 24kW
Heating Demand Load 78000
Heating Demand Load Unit BTU/hr
Selected temperature scale Celsius
Heating Design Temperature -35° C
Arctic heat pump required 2 x 060ZA/BE
Comments Hi there, I am trying to find out if it would be worth to replace our electric heating boiler that is about 12 years old. It’s an electric hydronic heating system built in the house with floor heating, hot water boiler from Thermolec B-23 - that does 78478 BTU, 23 KW , up to 95,8 A. Max pressure is 30 PSIG - operating 15 PSIG and max temperature 93’C. What model and price would be the best equivalent for it ? I checked the electricity consumption that in coldest nights peaks at 20 KW for entire house. Would it be hard to retrofit it ? Are your products eligible for Hydro Quebec rebate ? Thanks Peter.
